I am a Director at KHQ Lawyers and Head of the Family Law Team at KHQ. I am an accredited Family Law Specialist (LIV), collaborative lawyer and trained mediator. I have previously been recognised in Doyle’s Guide for expertise in parenting law and was named Family Law Partner of the Year in 2018 by Lawyers Weekly. I have had almost 30 years of experience working with complex family law matters, particularly where there are significant assets or complex property settlements (including business and trust structures), international elements or highly sensitive parenting issues including cross border issues. I have a strong focus on litigation strategy and negotiated outcomes, and am regularly briefed by clients, referrers and other professionals seeking strategic, pragmatic advice in hi-stakes family law matters. I utilise a multidisciplinary approach working closely with accountants, psychologists and financial planners to achieve the best outcome for my clients. I am a dedicated advocate against family violence, frequently speaking on coercive control and family law issues. I combine deep legal knowledge with a client-focused coaching style to support families through separation and complex disputes.
